solution as yet, other than to continue to claim your independence from fashion and comment. And remember:

Hi, and thank you SO much for posting this! I’ve watched these make-over shows, and though they sometimes do a great job, I’ve seen what they do to women older than 40. And I hate it. They cover them from head to toe, and make them look ‘Their Age’. To heck with that! I have always liked sexy clothes, and I don’t intend to stop now I’m 50! I may be a granny but I don’t have to look like one. I’m so delighted to have found another of a like mind. Keep on writing these great articles!
