1991 Hong Kong:
I just took a sip of tea...and here comes the
concierge with a call from my office in America.
Twelve hours away, my evening was their morning,
and already there's a shoe emergency. It was my
president's president on the phone:
"Rebecca...pull-ease get on the next plane back.
I'm standing here looking at 7 sad and life-less, line of shoes! Seven
styles, they're all wrong...
Please come back now, and put some SEX IN THESE SHOES!!!
That moment defined me...
For years I've been interpreting women's needs and desires into fashion
products that women love! Now, I"m using my own experience (I'm over 60)
and years of research helping women over 50 rediscover their sensuality
to start feeling sexy again!This is my passion.
You probably guessed it by now, I'm a Fashion Shoe Designer.
So, for me, there's one especially good way to find you. I always want to
meet the women who appreciate style, trends, fashion, fabrics, ornamentation,
line and form, and who are relaxed enough to talk: and I find you in the
women's shoe department!
Maybe our paths have crossed. You might have seen me in your local
department store shoe area. I always analyze the regional trends and talk
with women as yourself, so I travel a lot. You are all so honest when you're
shopping! And I love to hear what's on your mind.

Of course, I let it slip that I'm a shoe designer. Then later, some of us
gather for coffee. And it's like a party. What great fun! The questions
pour like the coffee.
Always the 1st question: how did I get started?
About 33yrs ago, I was the first woman 'product manager' in the largest
American shoe company. Why me? To put the woman's mind into shoe design.
Imagine, 'till then, it was a man's world in shoe design for women.
As they say, we've coma a long way baby! Collectively, magnificent
women have moved mountains: business, medicine, social venues, politics,
cultural advances, we've even smashed the glass ceiling with our
spiked heels! But, we're not finished...not hardly.
We women over 50, are now ready to slay another dragon
...maybe 2 or 3:

menopause was a disease, and we're all sentenced to a love-less,
sex-less life.
So, now you know a little more about me and why I've put
together this blog-site.

the positive news by example, that women over 50 are sensual,
passionate, desirable and more sexy than ever! So there.

***Oh, about the 7 sad,life-less shoes: within 60 hrs. all 7 styles were
corrected and remade...looking amazingly sexy-gorgeous! Then I was on a
plane back to Hong Kong...putting more sex into women's shoes.
What an exciting life!
