For Women Over 50: Taking Steps To Restore Your Passion For Life

Posted in Desire, Passion, Self Image on August 22nd, 2010 by Rebecca Eisele – 1 Comment

Here in the midwest, the air is drowning in the mating song of the Cicada, an insect
that is all about renewal.

It’s life is a metaphor that can be a lesson for us women over 50.

You see, after hatching, the young Cicada buries itself in the ground. After several years,
at the right time, they all emerge(quite large)… one by one. In the park this morning, I
couldn’t help but see the holes in the earth, with vacant, crunchy shells along the side.

After all these years in the earth, this large insect emerges, sheds it’s old life and greets
the world as a  youthful, flying bug with bulging, shiny black eyes. AND starts the song:
the mating song.

Well, what have you done to emerge yourself…
from our cultural expectations of aging…
and become the Magnificent Woman that has been buried within?

NOW’S THE TIME TO ANALYZE AND REVISE:

DIETING: perhaps it’s not a diet to lose weight, even though that can be a nice bonus,
but a diet for health. Eating for your skin, hair, eyes, heart, mind, and that healthy
coloring in your face. Treat yourself to fruits, and veggies / pass on the chips.

EXERCISE: not only is exercise good for weight control, but look at the other benefits.
Walking for only 30 minutes per day is equally good for stress and the mind. Don’t fill
your head with negative chatter, use this time for clearing your mind… get in the zone
and just walk and breathe, walk and breathe.

ATTITUDE: a negative attitude trumps hair and skin as the #1 indicator of getting older.
Believe me, I know how easy it is to let all the little, insignificant things become a huge
boulder we’re carrying around our neck. Come on, lighten up a little! Thing before
speaking… learn to smile… and be nice. BE NICE! Works wonders.

So, if you want to restore your passion and desire, then start a renewal.
You’ll notice a little spring in your step, and you’ll start the day with a new outlook.
AND, let in the joy… you’ll be glad you did!

Pls. comment and share what you’re doing for your RENEWAL!

To Women Over 50: What Does ‘SENSUAL’ Mean To You?

Posted in Desire, Passion, Pleasure Power, Sensual, Sensual Bliss Action Challenge, Sexy Again on November 22nd, 2009 by Rebecca Eisele – 1 Comment

HINT: It’s not about positions!

The meaning of the word ’sensual’ goes all the way from being ‘provocative, steamy and
hot’ to ‘arousing, sexy, stimulating.’

And then comes the disconnect:
Perhaps it’s not in your best interest to take your ’steamy, sexy, and stimulating’ self to
the supermarket just for a quart of milk!

So, let’s get to the root of what makes a woman sensual
and how that translates into passion & desire.

FACT:
*BEING SENSUAL means ‘arousing or exciting the senses.’
Your senses being: SOUND, SIGHT, TASTE, TOUCH and SMELL.

For a woman, this pretty much says it all. We ARE the sensual sex and ARE in one
with Sound, Sight, Taste, Touch and Smell. Also, note: you don’t hear of a man referred
to as being sensual. As I like to do, let’s take shoes as an example: notice women in a
shoe department and then notice a man. Totally different approach. So what about the
differences in the senses involved?

Women love the colors, design, and materials. Further…we twist, turn and prance just to
feel the shoe and see how it looks on our foot. This is definitely a sensual
experience for women.

What does this have to do with our passion and desire?

How To Change Your Life By Seducing Yourself – A Real Life Example:

Posted in Desire, Pleasure Power, Seduce Yourself, Self Image, Sensual Bliss Action Challenge, Sexy Again on November 12th, 2009 by Rebecca Eisele – Be the first to comment

In my last post, we talked about seducing yourself to rev-up your Passion and Desire.

Here’s an example of how this works:

‘Seducing Yourself’ is ‘taking yourself away…away from the mundane…away from your
current situation into a sensual fantasy…in your ‘Mind’s Playground.’

*A friend of mine lost her corporate job and is now working at home. She was
depressed, sickly, ate too much junk food…even passed the days calling, connecting
with placement services, worrying and crying. And worse: she didn’t even get out of
her pajamas!

THEN: she decided to get a hold of herself and came up with a plan:

*She started getting up at the same time every morning, showered and dressed as if she
were reporting to a management job. She stopped doing laundry and cleaning house
during the day (in between making calls and working.)

*Since then (it took about 2 weeks)…she’s happier with a whole new attitude,
confident in attending networking functions, and she expects to see some

How Seducing Yourself Can Rev-Up Your Passion & Desire

Posted in Seduce Yourself, Sensual, Sensual Bliss Action Challenge on October 26th, 2009 by Rebecca Eisele – Be the first to comment

When was the last time you Seduced Yourself?

First, you need to know
the true meaning of ’seduction’: taking yourself away…
‘Seduction’ does NOT have to be about SEX!
But can be the bridge to your passion and desire.

So, what can you do to ‘take  yourself away?’

*Maybe you put on your ’soft clothes’, make a great cup of coffee with real cream and
snuggle into bed to crack open that novel you’ve been pining to read.

*Seduction can be a trip to the bookstore…going to a shoe sale…taking your dog to the
dog park…treating yourself to a facial…watching your favorite movie, again.

*Or taking yourself on a date to your favorite restaurant.

When you make time to ’seduce  yourself’,
it’s like an injection of loving yourself.

And you have to love yourself first, before you can truly love another. And when you
love yourself, you become a love magnet. This is your foreplay to rev-up your passion and
desire.

BLISS BUSTER: One Sure Way To Destroy Your Self-Confidence, Your Passion and Your LIFE!

Posted in Bliss Buster, Desire, Passion, Self Image, Sensual, Sensual Bliss Action Challenge on September 6th, 2009 by Rebecca Eisele – 5 Comments

DSCF0633_2It all started when I first looked in the mirror this morning.
I look old…old neck…moisturizer can’t perform miracles…
chatter…chatter…new pants too tight…eat like a pig…too
old to wear jeans anyway…chatter…chatter…chatter…
we hear it all the time! In our head!

Our internal monologue is part of our ’self.’ We don’t
even realize we have this continual, negative conversation
going on…chatter…chatter…chatter…

Especially for Women Over 50: Pay attention! Just listen to yourself! Do
you realize what you’re doing? This negative self-talk is ruining your life!

Eliminating this self-talk can actually make you feel sexy and desired again.
You’ll develop new passions and feel in love. Sure, it’s easy to say. But, convincing
yourself this actually works, can be difficult.

The best way is by a negative self-talk example:
*Another crappy day…I’m tired already.
*Got to do 50 curnches or my fat gut will fall to my knees.
Doesn’t do any good…a waste of time.
*I look fat anyway…so who cares?
*I never follow through. No wonder I look hideous!

Here’s an example of positive self-talk:

Do You Feel With Your Eyes? Sure You Do!

Posted in Desire, Passion, Pleasure Power, Romance, Sensual on September 2nd, 2009 by Rebecca Eisele – Be the first to comment

aug-sept 159_2Meet my Grand-Dog Ingrid.
How cute!

I’m using Ingrid’s photo to make a point. Something we all
can relate to: Our Eyes Have Feeling!

When looking at a picture of Ingrid, I immediately make the
‘aawww’ sound and feel all warm and cuddly. It’s just like
Ingrid is right next to me. And then I think of her cold, wet
nose / how she waits anxiously by my refrigerator door for
a dollop of yogurt / the warmth of her big ol’ head resting on my lap. I’m even smiling
as I write this for you. (I can even smell her, but I won’t go further.)

How do you feel when you see your baby(your pet), or grandchild, OR when you
see a photo of someone or something you don’t like at all? I call this ‘eye touch’.
Our emotions immediately come to the surface…both good or bad, loving or disgusting
and all other feelings in between.

We don’t just SEE with our eyes.
